Approval of Agenda — Helen moved to approve the agenda. Linda <br />seconded. The motion was unanimous. <br />IV. Approval of Meeting Minutes — Helen moved to approve the minutes from <br />the July 13, 2011 meeting. Linda seconded. <br />VIII. Recommendation: Regarding Preferred Trail Alignment for the Hwy 36 <br />Bike Path on Scriffiny Open Space <br />• There are two options: Either the trail will be built at the end of the <br />construction project or the project will be developed in parts (with <br />project timeframe of 2012-2015). <br />• Louisville holds a conservation easement; they do not hold fee title. <br />o Bicycling is an approved use of the Louisville easement, so <br />long as approved by the interested boards. <br />• A design/build team is currently being selected. <br />o The design team will review both the on -roadway alignment <br />and the potential path through Scriffiny Open Space (an <br />alignment that deviates from the on -roadway alignment). <br />• Pros (as developed by the City): Removes trail from highway <br />noise, avoids environmentally sensitive area, improves connectivity <br />to area businesses <br />• Mike makes a motion to support the preferred trail alignment. <br />Spencer seconded the motion.
