They also submit a work plan to Council, and then, <br />OSAC works off of the plan that has been approved. <br />• OSAC also has taken advantage of volunteering offers from <br />various groups. <br />• OSAC and OSAB discussed the development of the Hwy 36 <br />commuter trail and how it will impact the trail development in the <br />two cities. <br />b. Education <br />• In Louisville, we have had strong public support for our public <br />education programs. <br />• Examples: Weed Whackers, library programs, senior <br />programs, public education presentations, raptor <br />monitors, geocaching <br />• OSAB is interested in public education about social trials. <br />• OSAB has also started using social media and other <br />alternative media outlets to get our message out. <br />c. Web -based Trail Mapping <br />• OSAC is planning to establish a subcommittee to develop web - <br />based trail mapping. <br />• They are also interested in collaborating on a regional <br />level, in order to show the regional trail connections that <br />are currently in place. <br />• OSAB is interested in developing a map. Features may include: <br />distances, tagging maintenance issues, volunteer reports, <br />pictures/video on a property, and more information about a <br />property. <br />• The boards would like to collaborate on this topic. <br />d. Dog Parks <br />• Davidson Mesa Off -Leash Area is a difficult management issue for <br />Louisville. <br />• Superior has an irrigated turf dog park. <br />• The boards discussed management issues that have arisen as a <br />result of the operation of dog park/off-leash areas. <br />d.
