Approval of JulyMeeting Minutes: <br />Approved as-is. <br />V. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: <br />None; visitors were there to <br />IX <br />participate in discussion of Agenda item . <br />VI. Urban Agriculture White Paper: <br />Deferred to September meeting. <br />VII.Endorsement of Boulder County’s Zero-Waste Plan: <br />Mark discussed the <br />th <br />presentation of the County’s Zero-Waste Plan at the August 9City Council Study <br />Session. He stated he will prepare a formal resolution to adopt the plan, to present to <br />LSAB and forward to City Council. (A copy of LSAB’s endorsement letter to City <br />Council for the Aug 9thmeeting is attached). <br />VIII. Revised Livable City Presentation: <br />Deferred to September meeting. <br />IX. Sustainable Homes Tour: <br />Andy gave us a slide-show presentation on this year’s <br />nd <br />tour, scheduled for Sunday, October 2, 10am-4pm.(a copy of Andy’s slide show is <br />attached).Andy stated five Louisville homes and a single Lafayette site will comprise <br />our local-area group of tour homes. He also indicated Annie’s and Cullen’s homes may <br />be part of the tour. Sustainable-performance information will be available at each home <br />site. <br />Andy stated they’re hoping for a 50% increase in attendance from last year’s tour. He <br />stated sponsorship levels of $50, $100, and $250 have been set; local solicitations to be <br />done by the local-group members. Tour tickets will be set up in a ‘passport’ format, to <br />be stamped at each tour site, with some kind of discounts to be offered by local- <br />participating merchants for completed passports.
