City Council
Meeting Minutes
January 2, 2007

centered on the condition of the mobile home, and the neighborhood property
values. Wood reviewed the Louisville Municipal Code, which recognizes a
mobile home is a nonconforming structure that may be maintained as a healthy
and safe living condition as long as they are not altered, expanded, enlarged or
vacant for six months. Wood noted the mobile home is owned by a resident who
lives on Roosevelt Avenue. Mr. Davis's latest email reports the property has
been listed for sale. Plannin~1 Director Wood contacted the listing agent, who
indicated the mobile home property is for sale for the construction of a new
home. He noted this would n~quire subdividing the property. He will have further
discussions with the listing a~lent.

City Attorney Light stated if a subdivision is necessary in advance of transfer,
Staff will notify the property owners.

Council member Marsella asked if a nonconforming use has rights within a
subdivision.
