City Council Meeting Minutes February 6, 2007 Page 17 of 18 MOTION: Mayor Pro Tern Brown moved the funds for the additional funding for the Colorado Wireless Community Web Site be taken from the Capital Improvement budget, seconded by Council member Clabots. Roll call vote was taken. The motion carried by a vote of 7-0. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT City Attorney Light updated Council on recent discussions on Amendment 41 and the impact on municipal government. He noted there is a provision in Amendment 41 stipulating Home Rules Cities having their own Code of Ethics may opt out of the Amendment. He will provide additional information to Council. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT Interim City Manager Balser asked Becky Hogan to report on another large company relocating to Louisville. Ms. Hogan reported a company called Starsys will move into the CTC businE~sS park in March. She also reported on a national conference for retail recruitin~) and retention, which will be held in Las Vegas in May. Three Louisville repres1entatives will be attending the conference. COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS Mayor pro Tern Brown reportlad the BRaD Committee will attend the Downtown Business Association (DBA) business meeting on Wednesday, February 7,2007. Mayor Sisk reported he and Community Facilitator Meredyth Muth will attend the Preservation Inc. Conference in Denver on February 8 and 9. Mayor Sisk reported he and Interim City Manager Balser will be traveling to Washington, D.C. during the week of February 12 to meet with Colorado legislators on transportation funding.
