<br />City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />February 6, 2007 <br />Page 17 of 18 <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayor Pro Tern Brown moved the funds for the additional funding for <br />the Colorado Wireless Community Web Site be taken from the Capital <br />Improvement budget, seconded by Council member Clabots. Roll call vote was <br />taken. The motion carried by a vote of 7-0. <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> <br />City Attorney Light updated Council on recent discussions on Amendment 41 and <br />the impact on municipal government. He noted there is a provision in <br />Amendment 41 stipulating Home Rules Cities having their own Code of Ethics <br />may opt out of the Amendment. He will provide additional information to Council. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br /> <br />Interim City Manager Balser asked Becky Hogan to report on another large <br />company relocating to Louisville. Ms. Hogan reported a company called Starsys <br />will move into the CTC businE~sS park in March. She also reported on a national <br />conference for retail recruitin~) and retention, which will be held in Las Vegas in <br />May. Three Louisville repres1entatives will be attending the conference. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Mayor pro Tern Brown reportlad the BRaD Committee will attend the Downtown <br />Business Association (DBA) business meeting on Wednesday, February 7,2007. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk reported he and Community Facilitator Meredyth Muth will attend the <br />Preservation Inc. Conference in Denver on February 8 and 9. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk reported he and Interim City Manager Balser will be traveling to <br />Washington, D.C. during the week of February 12 to meet with Colorado <br />legislators on transportation funding. <br /> <br />ADJOURN <br /> <br /> <br />Council member Clabots moved for adjournment, seconded by Mayor Pro Tern <br />Brown.
