He noted nine out of eleven <br />renewable energy relief measures presented by Germany were conceived at the <br />National Renewal Energy Laboratory. He stated Xcel Energy is taking an active <br />role in renewable energy measures. He noted there are now state bids on energy <br />efficient vehicles. <br /> <br />IREGULAR BUSINESS <br /> <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT MEIRITORIOUS SERVICE AWARD PRESENTATIONS <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Police Chief Bruce Goodman reported on January 24, 2007, Louisville Police <br />Officers Chris Muzzipapa and Mike Miller participated in defensive tactics training <br />in Broomfield when one of thl~ students suffered cardiac arrest. Officers <br />Muzzipapa and Miller conducted full CPR until paramedics arrived and <br />transported the victim. The doctors reported the victim would not have survived <br />without CPR. The Broomfield Police Department honored the Louisville officers <br />by bestowing upon them the Broomfield PD Meritorious Service Award, which is <br />seldom presented to officers outside of the Broomfield Police Department. <br />
