<br />City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />May 15, 2007 <br />Page 3 of 13 <br /> <br />The City Council presented three teams for the Destination Imagination event <br />with Certificates of Recognition. The project involves designing and constructing <br />a technical device that must move from point to point under its own power. <br />Participants must also write, produce, and star in a story that involves the <br />technical device. <br /> <br />Fireside Elementary - Falcons in Flight - Placed 3rd in Elementary Level - Grade <br />5 - Christina Bartholomew; Gage Froelich; Shaam Patnam; Sassan Kermani; <br />Cassidy Filben, Elise Graningler, Advisor and Connie Luce, Team Manager. <br />Connie Luce explained the challenge. <br /> <br />Louisville Elementary - Cake or No Cake - Placed 1 st in Elementary Level - <br />Grade 5: Noah Horst; Glenna Gee-Taylor; Corrie VanLaanen; Warren Harris; Will <br />Finamore; Emily Marcum; Team Managers Ty Gee and Julie Van Laanen. Ty <br />Gee explained the challenge. <br /> <br />Louisville Middle School - Unregulated Homeopathic Substances of Unknown <br />Potencies- Placed 1 st in Middle School Level- Grade 8: Eliora Horst; Tess <br />VanLaanen; Carter Gee-Taylor; Quinn Olsen; Hannah Russek; Dylan Martin; <br />Molly Sauer; Team Managers Andy Martin and Barbara Taylor. Dylan Martin <br />explained the challenge. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION - HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION 2007 <br />PRESEFtVATION AWARDS OF MERIT <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Meredyth Muth, Community Facilitator explained in honor of Colorado <br />Archeology and Historic Preservation Month the Historic Preservation <br />Commission recognized four sites in Old Town for their historic preservation <br />efforts.
