Section 24-6-402(4)(f) and (g). <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested the City Council convene an executive session for the <br />purpose of reviewing Confidential Records in the City Manager Candidate <br />Recruitment. <br /> <br />City Clerk Varra read Section 2.90.050 "Public Statements" of the Louisville <br />Municipal Code, which governs the topics discussed in executive session. <br /> <br />City Attorney Light stated the authority for Executive Session is provided through <br />the Home Rule Charter, Section 5-2(a) and 5-2(b) and C.R.S. Section 24-6- <br />402(4) (f) and (g). <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved the Council adjourn to executive session to discuss <br />Confidential Records/Personnel Matter in the City Manager Recruitment, and <br />requested Lynn Stokesbary of the Prothman Group, City Attorney Light and <br />Human Resources Manager lKathleen Hix be included in the executive session. <br />Council member Yarnell seconded the motion. All in favor. Council went into <br />executive session at 7:06 p.m. <br /> <br />REGULAR BUSINESS ITEMS SUSPENDED <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk reconvened the Special Business Meeting at 8:13 p.m., and <br />requested the City Attorney n3port on the Executive Session. <br /> <br />City Attorney Light reported in Executive Session Council discussed Confidential <br />Records/Personnel Matter in the City Manager Recruitment. Council reviewed <br />the list of candidates who are semi-finalists for the City Manager position <br />received from Prothman Group and a report from the City Manager Recruitment <br />Committee. Prothman and Staff requested Council identify, by number only, the <br />finalists for the interview process. The list of finalists will be announced at a later <br />time. He requested Council discuss the next steps for the interview process, <br />including the desired procedures and contract compensation issues. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />MOTION: Council member Muckle moved that the Council interview six <br />candidates and implement a procedure, which authorized the Mayor to select <br />three candidates by motion, and the Council to select candidates, which would <br />then be voted on by paper ballots. Council member Marsella seconded motion. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tern Brown asked for clarification on the outcome of the paper ballots <br />
