City Attorney Light reported a majority vote of four votes is required. He outlined the options available to Council. MOTION: Mayor Pro Tem Brown moved to continue Ordinance Nos. 1515, and 1521, Series 2007 to September 4, 2007, seconded by Council member Sackett. After further discussion, Mayor Pro Tem Brown withdrew his motion and Council member Sackett withdrew his second to the motion. MOTION: Mayor Pro Tem Brown moved to continue Ordinance No. 1515, Series 2007 to September 4,2007, seconded by Council member Sackett. All in favor. ORDINANCE No. 1521, SERIES 2007 - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 3.12 OF THE LOIlJISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING TAX RELIEF FOR THE ELDERLY, TO ESTABLISH CERTAIN ADDITIONAL ELU31BILlTY RESTRICTIONS MOTION: Mayor Pro Tem Brown moved to approve Ordinance No. 1521, Series 2007 on first reading, send it out for publication and set a public hearing for September 4,2007, seconded by Council member Yarnell. All in favor. MOTION: Mayor Pro Tem Brown moved to direct Staff to draft another ordinance incorporating the Senior Advisory Board's recommendations, and estimating Staff time for researching eligibility, seconded by Council member Clabots. All in favor. DAMY ANOVICH OPEN SPACE PURCHASE ORDINANCE No. 1520, SEFIIES 2007 - AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF CITY MONE:YS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF REAL ESTATE FOR OPEN SPACE AND OTHER PURPOSES, INCLUDING SUBDIVISION AND SALE OF A PORTION OF SUCH PROPERTY TO DEFRAY THE COST OF ACQUISITION - 2nd Reading - Public Hearing Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction.
