Executive Director's Report - The Historic Preservation Commission's is <br />proposing zoning incentives for the Old Town Overlay that would give <br />homeowners who meet specific criteria extra square footage and floor area ratio <br />in a read or second story addition in return for saving the street-facing fayade of <br />a home. The proposed ordinance is scheduled to go to the Planning Commission <br />and City Council for review in May and June. The purpose of the ordinance is to <br />try to encourage homeowners to add on to the rear of their homes in ways that <br />retains the street-level character of the houses. <br /> <br />IX. Museum Coordinator's Report <br />A. Deeds of Gifts accepted: <br />1. Virginia Caranci: Photos and negatives showing the moving of the <br />Jordinelli House and Summer Kitchen to the Museum site <br />2. Robert Enrietto: Slides relating to the history of Louisville <br />3. Jean Morgan: Photos of the champion magnolia tree by the Caranci <br />home <br />B. Visitors Report: <br />April - 83 <br />Year-to-Date - 261 <br />A group from the Calvary Bible Church in Boulder toured the Museum. <br />C. Activity Report - Three City Departments have requested historical photos <br />from the Museum for display purposes. <br />D. Update on History of the City's Safe - Bridget Bacon reported on her research <br />into the history of the City's antique safe that used to be situated at City Hall, <br />and the oil paintings that appear inside its doors. She reviewed past Council <br />minutes that showed that the safe was likely purchased by Louisville in 1895. <br /> <br />X. Committee Reports <br />A. Facility Management <br />1. A list of building items requiring attention is being prepared. <br />2. The remaining landscaping of the museum campus will be done this <br />summer by the Youth Corps under the supervision of the Land <br />Management Department. <br />3. There was discussion of the sizes and costs of landscaping beds. <br />4. There was discussion of the fencing project and where gates will need to <br />installed as part of the fencing.
