Executive Director's Report - There are five candidates for City Manager. <br />There will be an opportunity to meet the candidates at a reception on Thursday, <br />June 7,2007 from 7:00 - 8:30 PM at the Arts Center. The City Council will then <br />interview the candidates on June 8. <br /> <br />VIII. Museum Coordinator's Report <br />A. Deeds of Gifts accepted: <br />1. Bob Enrietto: Book, Out of the Depths and an abstract of title showing a <br />detailed view of the Acme Mine site <br />2. Consideration of Other Donations - The Commission discussed the possible <br />donation of the cash register from the Bug Dust Pool Hall by John and Lula <br />Belle Madonna. There was acknowledgement that it represents an important <br />time in Louisville's history that holds a great deal of interest for the public. <br />The Museum Coordinator will further consider the donation of the cash <br />register after reviewing its size and weight, and ascertaining whether there is <br />adequate space for it. <br />C. Golden Pioneer Museum Publication <br />D. Visitors <br />May - 107 <br />Year-to-Date - 368 <br />A group from Boulder Meridian had a group tour of the Museum. <br />E. Activity Report <br />1. Bridget Bacon attended the Lafayette Historical Society's presentation on <br />the Ludlow Massacre. She bought the DVD, "Out of the Depths," by Bill <br />Moyers for the Louisville Museum's collection on mining history. <br />2. Bridget Bacon provided assistance in identifying and locating appropriate <br />historical photos to be displayed in the Periodical Room of the Library and <br />to be used in filmmaker Cameron Weise's film about the Louisville <br />Community Park. <br />3.
