Historic Preservation Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />August 15, 2011 <br />Page 6of 9 <br />Bob Dressler presented. <br />Lewis asked what is the methodology for removing stucco on wall. <br />Dressler stated he was not sure but thought they would either chip or apply acid. <br />Koertjeasked if the window and trim work required an alteration certificate. <br />McCartney answered in the affirmative. <br />Dressler described the work to be completed on the windows and trim. <br />Koertje asked if the windows and trim were original. <br />Dressler stated no, theyhad been removed some time ago. <br />Koertje asked about the siding repair. <br />Dressler answered there is only a minor repair needed. <br />Fasick asked if the previous repairs had been paid for by the applicant. <br />Dressler answered in the affirmative. <br />Lewis stated she felt fine using the higher bid due to Olde English being such a good <br />contractor. <br />Koertje asked the applicant if he had a preference over which contractor to use. <br />Dressler answered Olde English. <br />Lewis noted her concern about the treatment to remove the stucco from the sandstone rock. <br />Koertje asked Lewis if she would be okay to have staff research the treatment. <br />Lewis answered in the affirmative. <br />Fasick stated she had confidence in Olde English to do the right thing. <br />Koertje agreed. <br />Lewis made a motion to approve the request using Olde English for the stone work and <br />Colorado Seamless for the gutters.
