<br />,"--- <br /> <br />OHDINANCE # 520 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE: AMENDING CHAPTERS 10 AND 29, <br />ON PUBLIC PE:AG.E AND WELFARE, OF THE <br />LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Sections 10.6 and 10.10 of the Louisville <br />Municipal Code are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. The following sections are hereby added to <br />Chapter 10 of the Louisville Municipal Code: <br /> <br />Section 10.6 Interference with Alarm System- <br />10'a Ise Alarms. <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful for any person to knowingly or <br />intentionally damage or interfere with any fire alarm system <br />or any part of the same. It shall be unlawful for any person <br />to make or give a false alarm of fire or a false alarm of a <br />rescue call. <br /> <br />Section 10.10 Interference with firemen on duty. <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful for any person to knowingly or <br />intentionally hinder, oppose, obstruct, or interfere with <br />any member of the fire department while such member is in <br />performance of his duty. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. Sections 29.3 and 29.4 of the Louisville <br />Municipal Code are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. The following sections are hereby added to <br />Chapter 29 of the Louisville Municipal Code: <br /> <br />Section 29.3 Resisting an Officer. <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful for any person to knowingly or <br />intentionally resist any police officer or to in any way <br />interfere with or hinder such police officer in the discharge <br />or apparent discharge of his duty. <br /> <br />Section 29.4 Aiding Prisoner to Escape. <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful for any person to rescue or attempt <br />to rescue, or to aid in the escape of, any person who is charged <br />with a misdemeanor and is in the custody of a police officer. <br /> <br />SECTION 5. Section 29.13 of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code is hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 6. The following section is hereby added to <br />Chapter 29 of the Louisville Municipal Code: <br /> <br />Section 29.1.3 Prostitution. <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful for any person to keep or maintain a <br />bawdy bouse, house of assignation, house of prostitution, house <br />of ill fame, or other place for the practice of prostitution, <br />fornication, adultry, or sexual perversion; or to offer to secure <br />another person, male or female, for the purpose of committing an <br />act of prostitution or for any person, male or female, to commit, <br />offer, or agree to commit .In act of prostitution. <br /> <br />SECTION 7. Sections 29.21 and 29.22 of the Louisville <br />Municipal Code are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 8. The following sections are hereby added to Chapter <br />29 of the Louisville Municipal Code: <br /> <br />-1- <br />
