<br />AN ORDINANCE RELATING AMENDING TITLE 15, CHAPTER 15.16
<br />TO PROVIDE MINIMUM STANDARDS IN THE DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION,
<br />INSTALLATION, QUALITY OF MATERIALS, LOCATION, OPERATION,
<br />AND MAINTENANCE OF HEATING, VENTILATING, COOLING-, REFRIG-
<br />ERATION SYSTEMS, INCII\JERATORS, AND OTHER MISCELLANEOUS HEAT
<br />PRODUCING APPLIANCES: THE UNI~ORM MECHANCIAL CODE, 1976
<br />EDITION, AS AMENDED PUBLISHED BY THE INTERNATIONAL ASS-
<br />OCIATION OF PLUMBING AND MECHANICAL OFFICIALS AND THE IN-
<br />TERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF BUILDING OFFICIALS.

<br />a thorough study of the 1976 edition of the Uniform Mechanic31
<br />
<br />Code, as amended; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City COLmcil is of the opinion that the same sh8uld
<br />
<br />be adopted;
<br />
<br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
<br />
<br />r;p LOUISVILLE, CO;:"ORADO:
<br />
<br />SECTION 1. Pursuant to Chapter 16, Article 31, Colorado
<br />
<br />Revised Statutes, 1973, as amended, there is hereby adopted as a
<br />
<br />part of the Louisville Municipal Code, Chapter 15.16, by reference
<br />
<br />the Uniform Mechanical Code, 1976 edition, as amended published
<br />
<br />by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials,
<br />
<br />5032 Alhambra Avenue, Los Angeles, California, and the International
<br />
<br />Conference of Building Officials, 5360 South Workman Road, Whittier,
<br />
<br />California, to have the same force and effect as if set forth
<br />
<br />herein in every particular. The subject matter of the adopted c~des
<br />
<br />includes comprehensive provisions and standards in the design, con-
<br />
<br />struction, installation, quality of materials, location, operation,
<br />
<br />and maintenance of heating, ventilating, cooling, refrigeration
<br />
<br />systems, incinerators, and other miscellaneous heat producing app-
<br />
<br />liances.

<br />SECTION 2. At lease three (3) copies of the Uniform Mechanical
<br />
<br />Code, 1976 Edition, as a~ended of the International Association of
<br />
<br />Plumbing and Mechanical Officials and the International Con~erence
<br />
<br />of Building Officials, all certified to be true, shall be available
<br />
<br />for reference by any interested person between the hours of 8:00
