<br />OHDII'JANCE NO. 556 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AIvLENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF <br />LOUISVILLE BY ADDING AN ADDITIONAL RESIDENTIAL ZONIf'JG <br />DISTRIGT, REGlJLATING THE LOCATION OF PRIVATE AND ]PUBLIC <br />HORSE STABLES, RE:VISING 'THE YARD AND BULK REQUIRIDlvlEN'TS, <br />HEVT:3II'JCf THE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT APPROVAL PROCESS <br />AND ADDING DEFINTTIONS TO CLAR.IFY THE PREGEEDDJG. <br /> <br />WHEHEAS, the City Council of the City of Louisville has <br /> <br />previously adopted the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Louisville, <br /> <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, from time to time the City Council, City Planning <br /> <br />Commission and City Staff have reviewed said Ordinance to ascertai::J <br /> <br />its adequacy in terms of controlling land use, yard and bulk, <br /> <br />and the general ability of the Ordinance to regulate ever changing <br /> <br />development conditions, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after holding properly advertised public hearings, <br /> <br />the City Council has determined that amendment of the Zoning <br /> <br />Ordinance is indeed desirable and necessary, <br /> <br />NOW, THERE.[I'ORE BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the <br /> <br />City of Louisville, Colorado that the Zoning Ordinance of the City <br /> <br />of Louisville is hereby amended as follows: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. <br /> <br />Section 2-101, subsections (B) through (I), <br /> <br />inclusive, of Chapter 17.12 of Title 17 of the Louisville <br /> <br />Municipal Code are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SEC'l'ION 2. <br /> <br />Section 2-101, Chapter 17.12, Title 17, of <br /> <br />the Louisville Municipal Dode dealing with Zoning District <br /> <br />Categories is hereby amended to add the following subsections: <br /> <br />(B) Residential Rural R-R - This district is intended to <br /> <br />provide for rural character, single family areas, primarily on <br /> <br />the fringe areas of the Louisville Planning Area. <br /> <br />(C) Residential Estate R-E - This district is intended to <br /> <br />provide an alternative to typical urban density single family <br /> <br />residential areas by providing for larger minimum lot areas. <br /> <br />(D) Residential Low Density R-L - This district is comprised <br /> <br />of typical urban density single family residential areas. <br /> <br />-1- <br />
