Resolution No. 51, Series 2011— A Resolution Supporting the Submittal <br />of a Grant Between the City of Louisville and the State Board of the <br />Great Outdoors Colorado Trust Fund <br />F. Resolution No. 52, Series 2011— A Resolution Approving Additional <br />Exchanges of Conservation Easements Required By the Southeast <br />Boulder County, South 96th Street, Dillon Road and US 287 Area <br />Comprehensive Development Plan Intergovernmental Agreement <br />Mayor Sisk recognized Pat Heinz - Pribyl, Principal of Fireside Elementary School and <br />requested she address Consent Agenda Item 4E — Resolution No. 51, Series 2011 — A <br />Resolution Supporting the Submittal of a Grant between the City of Louisville and the <br />State Board of the Great Outdoors Colorado Trust Fund. <br />Principal Heinz - Pribyl, Fireside Elementary School, 845 W. Dahlia Street, Louisville, <br />introduced Michele Crawford, who wrote the grant. She explained the current <br />construction project at Fireside Elementary includes improvements to the playground, <br />an interior remodel, and the addition of three classrooms. She noted because of the <br />staffs expertise, the students are barely aware of the chaotic construction activities. <br />She voiced her appreciation to the Fireside Elementary staff and to the Louisville City <br />Council for their support. <br />Michele Crawford, 2543 Otter Court, Lafayette, CO stated she has one child enrolled at <br />Fireside Elementary School. She explained the Great Outdoors Colorado Trust Fund <br />Grant for Fireside Elementary School was rejected earlier this year, but will be <br />resubmitted later this month. The Grant is for $75,000, with matching funds from the <br />Boulder Valley School District ($30,000); Boulder Valley 3A Bond ($35,000) earmarked <br />for the playground, and the $10,000 balance from the Fireside Elementary PTO. She <br />applauded the efforts of Parks & Recreation Director Joe Stevens and his staff. She <br />noted the Great Outdoors Colorado Trust has stated they will review the grant <br />application before it is submitted, so revisions can be made if needed. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br />Alan Sobel, 1408 Kennedy Avenue, Louisville, CO continued the filibuster he began on <br />April 6, 2010, which addresses the activities of Louisville City officials with respect to the <br />cable television.
