Hearing none, Davidson closed the public hearing.

Howard moved that Council approve and adopt Ordinance No. 1325, Series 2000, CTC
Easement Vacations, on second and final reading, seconded by Sisk.

Sam Light, City Attorney noted that the copy of Ordinance No. 1325, contained in the
council packet was not the correct ordinance, however the correct version of Ordinance
No. 1325 was properly published.

Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a vote of 6-0.

RESOLUTION NO. 6, SERIES 2000 - A RESOLUTION APPROVING A FINAL
PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND MINOR SUBDIVISION RELAT FOR LOTS 8
AND 9, BLOCK 1, THE BUSINESS CENTER AT CTC, AIRBORNE EXPRESS

Davidson called for staff presentation.

Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that Resolution No. 6, Series 2000, requests
approval of a minor subdivision replat for Lots 8 and 9, Block 1, and a final PUD for Lot
8. The applicant is Airborne Express, represented by CMC Group, with Mr. Robert
Maddox available to address the City Council. The development plan is to construct a
25,000 square foot distribution facility on the north side of Arthur Avenue, in the
Business Center at CTC. On December 21, 1999, City Council remanded this application
back to the Planning Commission after their November 18, 1999 denial. The Planning
Commission held a second public hearing on January 11, 2000, and forwarded a
unanimous recommendation of approval, without any conditions. The PUD specific
elements that changed were architectural in nature, including changes in the color
scheme. The striping was removed from the building, and two shades of beige are now
proposed. The height of the parapet has been varied on three sides of the building. A
capital or cornice detail has been proposed on the top of the taller wall sections. The
ground sign has been eliminated, and the wall sign has been modified to be non-
illuminated individual letters.

Davidson called for the applicant presentation.

Robert Maddox, of CMC Group, consultants representing Airborne Express, expressed
appreciation for the Council's quick turnaround time on their PUD review. He stated that
the Planning Commission requested that the window above the entry only extend to the
height of the first reveal. Mr. Maddox noted that although it is not reflected on the artist
drawing, it would be changed as requested.

Davidson called for Council comments and questions.

Howard moved that Council approve Resolution No. 6, Series 2000, Final PUD
Development Plan and Minor Subdivision Replat For Lots 8 and 9, Block 1, The

11
