He stated he <br /> would stand in witness to the City Council's disrespect for their offices, the political <br /> process in the City and for their constituents, the residents of Louisville, Colorado. <br /> COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE <br /> AGENDA <br /> Mayor Sisk reported on the success of the Fall Festival and expressed his thanks for <br /> the honor of being the Grand Marshall of the parade. He thanked the event organizers <br /> Kay Gazaway and Meredyth Muth and all the volunteers for their work. He reminded <br /> City Council of the dinner with the Boulder Valley School District on September 15 at <br /> 6:00 p.m. The school principals have been invited to attend. Councilor Muckle arrived to <br /> the meeting at 7:11 p.m. <br /> CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br /> City Manager Fleming reported this is a record year for building permits due to the <br /> development on the north end of town. The Building Department estimates there will be <br /> 55 single family home construction building permits this year. This and a position <br /> vacancy in the department have put a strain on the Building Department, but temporary <br /> help has been hired to assist. It is also anticipated there will be 300,000 SF of <br /> • commercial development activities at CTC and elsewhere. <br /> Mayor Sisk urged City Council and the public to drive through the Steel Ranch <br /> subdivision. <br /> REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> PROCLAMATION — NATIONAL MOMENT OF REMEMBRANCE OF THE 10TH <br /> ANNIVERSARY OF SEPTEMBER 11TH <br /> Mayor Sisk read the Proclamation, which proclaimed Louisville's support for a National <br /> Moment of Remembrance on September 11, 2011. He noted the Louisville Fire <br /> Protection District will have a memorial service on Sunday, September 11th at 9:00 a.m. <br /> DISCUSION/DIRECTION/ACTION — HISTORIC PRESERVATION FUND (HPF) <br /> PROGRAM GUIDE <br /> Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. <br /> Planning Director Russ stated the City staff and the Historic Preservation Commission <br /> (HPC) are requesting City Council discussion/direction on fiscal management guidelines <br /> • for the Historic Preservation Fund (HPF) to clarify expectations and ensure equitable <br />
