15.28.030 Code copies. At least three (3) copies of the Uniform Solar Energy Code, 1976 Edition, of the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials, all certified to be true cop:i:es, have been and are on file in the office of the City Clerk and may be inspected by interested parties between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, holi- days excepted. The "Solar Energy Code" .is finally adopted shall be available for sale to the public through the office of the City Clerk. 15.28.040 Penalty clause. The following penalty clause as contained in the Uniform Solar Energy Code, 1976 Edition, is herewith set forth in full and adopted: Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this Code shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable by a fine not exceed $300.00 or by imprisonment not to exceed 90 days, or both fine and imprisonment. Each separate day or any portion there- of during which any violation of this Code occurs or continues shall be deemed to constitute a separate offense, and upon convection thereof :shall be punishable as herein provided. The issuance or granting of a permit or approval of plans and specifications shall not be deemed or construed to be a permit for, or an approval of, any violation of any of the provisions of this Code. No p4:rmit presuming to give authority to violate or cancel the provisions of this Code shall be valid, except insofar as the work or use which it authorized is lawful. The issuance or granting of a permit or approval of plans shall not prevent the Administrative Authority from thereafter requiring the correction of errors in said plans and specifi- cations or from preventing construction operations being car- ried on thereunder ~yhen in violation of this Code or of any other ordinance or from revoking any certificate of approval when issued in error.
