The proposed <br />residential zone and residential use would not have good pedestrian <br />accessibility to any schools. <br /> <br />(4) Land Use policy Nine, which encourages both fiscal <br />and physical efficiencies in maintaining a compact urban form by <br />encouraging new residential construction to locate adj acent to <br />existing facilities and services. The proposed rezoning would be <br />contrary to a compact urban form and would not locate residential <br />uses adjacent to existing facilities and services. <br /> <br />(5) Action Statement under the Northeast Quadrant, which <br />states an "adequate supply of land should be maintained within the <br />northeast quadrant for the development of light to medium <br />industrial and business park uses. It is the intent that these <br />uses be designed comprehensively under unified development control <br />with an emphasis on compatibility in building design and <br />landscaping." <br /> <br />2.
