<br />AN ORDINANCE REIATING TO THE REGUlATION OF ERECTION, CDNSTRUC-
<br />TION, ENLARGEMENI', ALTERATION, REPAIR, M)VING, RllDVAL, CON-
<br />VERSION, DEM:>LITION, OCCUPANCY, EQUIPMENT, USE, HEIGIIT, AREA,
<br />AND MAINTENANCE OF BUIlDINGS OR STRUCTURES IN THE CITY OF
<br />lDUISVTILE, COlDmO; AOOPTING BY REFERENCE THERE'ID THE UNI-
<br />FORM BUIlDING CODE, 1973 EDITION, VOllJME 1, of the INTERNA-
<br />TIONAL CONr'lilir:NCE OF BUIlDING OFFICIALS, TCX;ETHER WITH THE
<br />UNIFORM BUIlDING CODE STANDARDS, 1973 EDITION; REPEALING AIL
<br />ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF lDUISVIlLE, COlDRAIO, IN CONFLICT
<br />OR INCONSISTENT HEREWITH: AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIO-
<br />lATION OF THE PROVISIONS OF SAID BUIlDING CODE.

<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Louisville has
<br />made a thorough study of the 1973 edition of the Uniform Building Code;
<br />
<br />and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the same
<br />should be adopted;
<br />
<br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
<br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLO&~DO:
<br />
<br />Section 1. ~ption. Pursuant to Chapter 139, Article 34,
<br />Colorado Revised Statutes, 1963, as amended, there is hereby adopted
<br />
<br />as the Building Code of the City of Louisville, by reference thereto,
<br />the Uniform Building Code, 1973 edition, Volume 1, published by the
<br />International Conference of Building Officials, 5360 South Workman
<br />Mill Road, Whittier, California, together with the Uniform Building
<br />Code Standards, 1973 edition, of the International Conference of
<br />
<br />Building Officials, above address, all to have the same force and
<br />effect as if set forth hE~rein in every particular. The subj ect
<br />
<br />matter of the adopted codes includes comprehensive provisions and
<br />
<br />standards regulating the erection, construction, enlargement, alter-
<br />
<br />ation, repair, moving removal, conversion, demolition, occupancy,
<br />
<br />equipment, use, height, area, and maintenance of buildings and
<br />
<br />structures for the prupose of protecting the public health, safety,
<br />
<br />and general welfare.

<br />Section 2. Amendments and Deletions:
<br />
<br />(a) Section 303 of the Uniform Building Code is
<br />hereby amended to delete the following from:JIITable No. 3-A
