Any person, firm, or corporation violating any of the provisions of this Code shall be deemed guilty of a separate offense for each and every day or portion thereof during which any violation of any of the provisions of this Code is committed, continued, or per- mitted, and upon conviction of any such vio- lation such person shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $300 or by imprison- ment for not more than 90 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. (b) Any violation of any provision of this Ordinance shall be punishable by a fine not exceeding three hundred dollars ($300) or imprisonment for a term not exceeding ninety (90) days or by both such fine and imprisonment. Section 5. Savings Clause. If any part, section, sub- section, sentence, clause, or phrase of this Ordinance or of the Building Code adopted hereby is for any reason held to be invalid, such decisions shall not affect the validity of the remaining sections of this Ordinance or of said Building Code; the City Council hereby declares that it would have passed this Ordinance and adopted said Building Code in each part, section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase thereof, irrespective of the fact that anyone or more parts, sections, subsections, sentences, clauses or phrases be de- clared invalid. Section 6. Repeal. Any or all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances of the City of l..ouisville in conflict or inconsistent herewith are hereby repeall:d, provided, however, that the repeal of any Ordinance or parts of Ordinances of the City of Louisville shall not revive any other section of any Ordinance or Ordinances hereto- fore repealed or superseded. j Introduced, read and ordered published this 2~: day of ~rdolJ.tJJ.-' 1974.
