CITY OF LOUISVILLE ORDINANCE No. 468 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO, ON PETITION OF THE COLORADO & SOUTHERN RAILWAY COMPANY, A CORPORATION, BY LARRY A. MIZEL, AS ITS ATTORNEY IN FACT, OF CERTAIN PROPERTY SITUATED IN THE NORTHEAST ~ OF SECTION 17 AND IN THE WEST ~ OF SECTION 16, BOTH IN TOWNSHIP 1 SOUTH, RANGE 69 WEST OF THE 6TH P.M., COUNTY OF BOULDER, STATE OF COLORADO~ AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Louisville, Colorado, FI NOS: That a petition by The Colorado & Southern Railway Company, a corporation, by Larry A. Mizel as its attorney in fact proposing to annex to the City of Louisville the territory hereinafter described, was filed with the Clerk of the City of Louisville on April 1, 1975; That said petition was properly signed by one hundred percent of the land own~rs of the area to be annexed and that said petition and the maps and documents attached thereto meet the requirements for the same as provided by law; That more than one-sixth of the perimeter of the area proposed to be annexed is contiguous with the city limits of the City of Louis- vi 11 e; That a community of interest exists between the territory pro- posed to be annexed and thE~ City of Louisville; That the territory proposed to be annexed will be urbanized in the near future and that the territory proposed to be annexed is capable of being integrated into the City of Louisville: NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: Section 1. That the property described in Exhibit A attached here- to situated in the County of Boulder, Colorado, be and the same is here- by annexed to the City of Louisville, Colorado and included within the corporate boundaries thereof as an integral part of the City.
