<br />Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and instructed <br />to file the maps, copies of said Petition, and copies of this Annexation <br />Ordinance with the Secretary of State and the Boulder County Clerk and <br />Recorder, pursuant to the statutes of the State of Colorado. <br />Secti on 3. Emerg1ency Cl ause. That \'/hereas the Ci ty has i nsuffi- <br />cient land annexed to the City for industrial use and commercial use and, <br />Whereas, the City Council determines that there is an immediate <br />need for the development of such lands described in this Petition for <br /> <br />said uses and, <br /> <br />Whereas, unless and emergency is declared the development of said <br />lands may be unduly delaYE~d causing a..loss of tax revenue needed by the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of LoUisville deter- <br />mines that there is an emE!rgency and that it is necessary to the immedi- <br />ate preservation of the publich health, safety and welfare that this ordin- <br />ance take effect 5-days after its passage and publication and that <br />therefore, this ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon the <br />expiration of 5 days after' its passage and publication on February 5, 1976. <br /> <br />Section 4. Severa.bility. If any part, section, subsection, sen- <br />tence, clause of phrase of this ordinance is for any reason held to be <br />invalid, such decison shall not effect the validity of the remaining <br />portions of this ordinance,; and the City Council of the City of Louisville <br />declares that it would have passed this ordinance and each part, section, <br />subsection, sentence, clause or phrase thereof, irrespective of the fact <br /> <br />that anyone or more parts, secitons, subsections, sentences, clauses or <br /> <br />phrases be declared invalid. <br /> <br />INTRODUCED, READ and ORDERED PUBLISHED this 15th day of April, 1975. <br /> <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED on second and final reading this 27t~ay of <br /> <br />January <br /> <br />, 1976. <br /> <br />~~u <br />/ Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />; . \ ,/ <br />Viii;! / /l / a) /J/ (/;4 /v;' /i r:lh") <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />-2- <br />
