<br />Section 22A-34. Revocation and suspension. <br />The building ins,tector may, upon his own motion, and shall, <br />upon the verified complaint in writing, of any person, require any person <br />licensed or registered undE!r this division to appear before the City Council <br />for a hearing upon five (5) days written notice, mailed to his last known <br />post office address, or by notice served personally. <br />The City Council shall have the power to temporarily suspend <br />or permanently revoke a license or registration if the holder thereof, <br />after a proper hearing, is found guilty of, or commits one or more of the <br />acts prohibited in this chapter. <br />Section 22A-35. Compliiance with division required for issuance of work <br />perm1it; socpe of work restricted by 1 icense or <br />registration: Exception. <br />(a) No permit shall be issued to any contractor who has not <br />first obtained a license as required by this division or who is delinquent <br />in the payment of his annual fee, or whose license or registration has been <br />stispended or revoked by action of the City Council. <br />(b) A licensed contractor or registrant may apply for and be <br />issued permits to do only such work as they are entitled to do under their <br />respective licenses or registrations. <br />(c) Any application for a permit or license or registration <br />filed in derogation of this section shall be deemed to have been filed with <br />fraudulent intent and shall: be a nullity. Any permit or license or regis- <br />tration issued on the basis of such fraudulent application shall be null <br />and void. <br /> <br />(d) Any individual, who owns a group I or J building or a <br />group H building where no more than four dwelling or sleeping units are <br />under a single roof, or any F-2 occupancy building having an occupant lead <br />of not more than thirty (30), may make application for a permit to erect, <br />construct, enlarge, alter, repair, improve, convert or demolish such <br />building shall be excepted from the license or registration requirement of <br />this section provided that such individual does not erect or construct <br />-7- <br />
