<br />ordinances of the City. <br /> <br />Section 9.5 Powers. <br /> <br />The municipal judge shall have full power and authority to <br />make and adopt rules and regulations for conducting the <br />business of the municipal court, and shall have all powers incident <br />to a court of record in relation to the attendance of witnesses, <br />the punishment of contempt, and enforcing the orders of court: <br />provided that no imprisonment for contempt shall exceed five days <br />and no fine for such cause shall exceed $100.00. <br /> <br />Section 9.6 Statement of Ordinances. <br /> <br />All action to recover any fine, or to enforce any penalty or <br />forfeiture under any ordinance, shall be in the corporate name of <br />the city of Louisville. All such cases shall be commenced by a <br />summons. However, a warrant for the arrest of the accused may <br />issue in the first instance upon the affidavit of any person that <br />any such ordinance or provision thereof has been violated, <br />and that the person making the complaint has reasonable ground <br />to believe that the party charged is guilty thereof. In all actions <br />for the recovery of any fines or penalties incurred for the <br />violation of any ordinance, it shall be sufficient to state in the <br />complaint or affidavit, the number of the section and title of <br />any ordinance violated, together with the date of its passage, <br />without stating such section in full or the substance thereof. <br /> <br />a) Any action or summons brought before the Municipal <br />Court to recover any fine or enforce any penalty or forfeiture <br />under any ordinances shall be filed in the corporate name of the <br />City of Louisville and on behalf of the people of the state of Colorado. <br />Processes from the municipal court shall be executed by any authorized <br />law enforcement officer from the City. <br /> <br />b) In all actions for the recovery of any fines or penalties <br />incurred for the violation of any ordinance of this City, the <br />complaint shall state the name of the defendant, the date, and <br />approximate location of the offense; indentification of the offense <br />charged, citing the ordinances section alleged to have been violated; <br />and a brief statement or description ot the offense charged, which <br />statement or description shall be sufficient if it states the type <br />of offense to which the ordinance relates. <br /> <br />Introduced, read and ordered published this ~nL <br />/Jr:: (?
