include a six-plex, several duplexes and a tri-plex. He also noted that the Gateway <br />Residential on South Boulder Road and McCaslin could result in 25 to 39 units. Wood <br />stated that Staff's recommendation would be to limit the number of new residential <br />dwelling permits (single family equivalents) issued in the calendar year 2000, to 35 units. <br /> <br />Davidson suggested an amendment to Resolution No. 18, Series 2000, that this be the last <br />year Council set goals limiting the number of new residential dwellings. He stated that <br />Resolution No. 36, Series 1993 was very successful in establishing goals and policies for <br />the management of growth and development within the City of Louisville. <br /> <br />Mayer asked Wood the location of any future subdivision estimated at 150 single-family <br />houses. He stated he was only familiar with the parcel located behind Kmart. <br /> <br />Wood stated that in light of the open space acquisitions, that number is no longer <br />practical. He noted that the North Louisville Plan which projects high density, may or <br />may not be in line with Council's direction. It has a potential to be a development of <br />multi-family units as opposed to single-family units. <br /> <br />Davidson moved Council approve Resolution No. 18, Series 2000, and establish 2000 as <br />the final year limiting the number of new residential permits, seconded by Mayer.
