ORDINANCE NO. 3 ~,;L, AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE TO ORDER THE CONSTRUCTION lOR REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS, CURBS, AND GUTTERS WHEREAS, the City Cowncil of the City of Louisville, Colorado, finds that it is necessary from time to time to require the construc- tion and repair of sidewalks, curbs and gutters within the city limits of the City' of Louisville .and to provide a method and procedure of ini- tiating and enforcement of the same. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED "BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Louisville, when it deems necessary that portion of a sidewalk, curb and gutter, be con- structed or repaired, may on its own motion, order the same to be done. Section 2. That the order of the City Council shall be resolution duly adopted, be directed to the City Manager of the City of Louisville who shall serve notice by registered mail upon the owner, or owners, of the property adjacent to or abutting the improvement ordered, to make such construction or repair as ordered within 30 days from date of regis- tering the notice for mailing, such construction or repair to conform with plans and specifications to be prepared by the City Engineer, said notice to be in words and figures as follows: NOTICE Louisville, Colorado Date (Registered Mai1- Return Receipt requested) You are hereby notified that the City Council of the City of Louisville, Colorado, by resolution duly adopted at its regu- lar meeting directed the undersigned to inform you that construction or repair of sidewalk, curb and gutter has been ordered at the following location: In the event the construction or re- pair ordered by the City Council is not undertaken within
