Notes: 1. In the case ,of multiple family residence or a trailer court each unit shall be considered a single family unit and shall be assessed the minimum fee per unit with additional points added as developed under Table A above. 2. If the water tap applicant desires a larger size tap than his accumulated point total requires, then the fee to be charged shall be the minimum fee for the size of tap de- sired. 3. The minimum tap fee shall not be less than nine hundred dollars ($900.00) regardless of the point total. This minimum shall not apply to the extension of existing ser- vices. 4. In the event a consumer desires to provide_automatic fire control protection for his premises, and for this emergency service only, requiring a tap larger than 3/4", the fee charges shall be based only on the points set forth in Table A, paragraph 13, without regard to the minimum and maximum fees set forth in Table B. Under this regulation, the user shall be required to pay the full cost of installa- tion of the service, including all pipe, valves, and valve boxes. For any tap applied for where the service requested is out of the City limits, the fee will be two (2) times the fee as calculated in Tables A & B in Section 13-1-6. "13-1-8" Special Fees. All necessary pipe, fittings, valves, shut off, ~enching, back filling and installation of the service line must be at the expense of the consumer and under the supervision of the Water Su- perintendent. All water service connection and all water service extensions, both within and without the corporate limits, are subject to special fees as adopted by the City. "13-1-9" Tampering or Any By-Pass Prohibited. It shall be un- lawful for any person to tamper with any meter, or to install or use any by-pass or other device where- by water may be drawn from a service pipe without being registered by the meter. All meters shall be furnished, set in place, and kept in repair by the City, and shall be and remain the property' of the City and under its control. -2-
