<br />"13-1-11" Extension or Expansion of Water Service: In the addi- <br />tion of a building or structure which adds a complete <br />living unit in the case of a multiple family residence, <br />or which adds pads to a mobile home court, or which <br />adds rooms or apartments to an apartment house (if such <br />rooms a,re served by plumbing fixtures) or any addition <br />not lis.ted herein which adds more than five (5) points <br />as computed by It'able A of this ordinance, shall require <br />the payment of an extension charge to be computed accor- <br />ding to the outlined method of computing tap fees. This <br />section shall apply to extensions to all existing water <br />services as well as future services. <br /> <br />"13-1-12" Decrease in Service: Any consumer who desires to <br />discont.inue the use of water for any special purpose, <br />whether for closets, bath tubs or other fixtures, <br />must ha,ve faucets removed, supply pipes to fixtures <br />disconnected, and must file written notice with the <br />Superintendent before a reduction in rates for the <br />next succeeding period will be made. This Section <br />relates: to water service rates only. No rebate will <br />be allciWed on tap fees paid. <br /> <br />"13-1-23" Metered Service: Any service may be metered when in <br />the judgment of the city Councilor City Administrator, <br />the same is necessary or beneficial. The City Coun- <br />cil or City Administrator may require any person or <br />legal e~ntity to install a meter at their cost when <br />deemed necessary or beneficial to the City. All new <br />taps installed within or without the City shall be <br />installed with a meter provided by the City. Where <br />water i.s sold through meters, the following rates <br />shall ClLpply: <br /> <br />a. Inside Meter Rates <br /> <br />Minimum monthly use <br />Rate <br />Over 10,000 <br />of $.45 per <br /> <br />10,000 gallons <br />$5.50 per month <br />gallons per month shall be at the rate <br />1,000 gallons. <br /> <br />b. Cmtside Meter Rates shall be double inside meter <br />rates. <br /> <br />c. Bulk water sales through a master meter may be <br />made at the discretion of the City Council at <br />the rate of $.65 per 1,000 gallons. <br /> <br />d. S~oxnputation of Rate: This schedule of water rates <br />shall be applied to water used or consumed as <br />determined by the water meter readings which are <br />made by the City. Water meters are read to the <br />nearest 100 gallons, thus any meter containing a <br />portion of 100 gallons shall be rounded off to <br />the nearest 100 gallons. <br /> <br />e. ~qater Billing: Statements for rates and charges <br />for water service shall be dated and sent out to <br />users between the 1st and 5th day of each month. <br /> <br />Section 2. The following new sections are hereby added to the <br /> <br />Water Ordinance No. 377 known as Chapter 13 of the Louisville Municipal <br /> <br />Code, to-wit: <br /> <br />-3- <br />
