<br />ARTICLE 2 <br /> <br />PROCEDURE <br /> <br />Section 2-101. Pre-ADD I ication Conference - Vicinity Sketch Plan <br /> <br />Prior to preparing a Prel iminary Plat for presentation to the City Planning <br />Commission, the subdivider shal I make known his intentions to the City <br />Administrator to discuss informally any City plans or standards that may <br />affec1" the proposed development. A vicinity sketch plan shal I be prepared <br />at a scale of one inch equals five hundred feet (I" = 500') on a base map <br />provided by the City. The subdivider shal I include on the sketch plan only <br />for his proposed development existing and proposed major uses areas for res- <br />idential, commercial, inudstrial, and public purposes and major streets. <br /> <br />After review of the sketch plan, the City Administrator wil I furnish to the <br />subdivider written comments concerning the feasibility and design of the pro- <br />posed subdivision. If annexation of the proposed subdivision is required, <br />the subdivider shall proceed as stipulated in the City of Louisvi I Ie Annex- <br />ation Pol icy and Guideline Statement. <br /> <br />Section 2-102. Prel iminary Plat <br /> <br />After the subdivider has reached preliminary conclusions concerning the feas- <br />ibi I ity and design of his proposed subdivision, he shal I prepare a Prel imin- <br />ary Plat and required supplemental material for presentation to and approval <br />of the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />(A) Processing of the Preliminary Plat. <br /> <br />(I) A minimum of thirty-six (36) copies of the Preliminary Plat, and re- <br />quired supplemental material, shal I be presented by the subdivider <br />to the City Clerk at least thirty (30) days prior to a regular <br />Planning Commission meeting. If the plat is in acceptable con- <br />dition according to these regulations, the City Administrator <br />shal I, furnish the appropriate agencies with a copy(ies) for <br />their review and comments. <br /> <br />The agencies shal I have twenty (20) days from the date they receive <br />the plat to review and return it to the City Administrator's Office. <br />Fai lure to return the plat or otherwise notify the City Administra- <br />tor shal I constitute approval by the agency. <br /> <br />(2) The Prel iminary Plat shal I be submitted to the Planning Commission <br />and a publ ic hearing shal I be held at the first regular Planning <br />Commission meeting at least thirty (30) days fol lowing submission <br />of the plat to the City Clerk. Notice of the time and place of <br />the public hearing shal I be sent by registered mail to the sub- <br />divider and owners of land immediately adjoining the platted land <br />not less than five (5) days-prior to the public hearing. Addition- <br />ally, notice of the public hearing shal I be publ ished in a news- <br />paper of general circulation within the City at least five (5) <br />days prior to such hearing. <br /> <br />2-1 <br />
