"'"' ORDINANCE NO. 432 AN ORDINANCE LEVYING A FEE OF 25t PER SQUARE FOOT FOR ANY BUILDINGS CONSTRUCTED IN THE E 1 ESTATE DISTRICT, R 1 RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT AND R 2 RESIDENCE DISTRICT AS DEFINED IN THE ZONING ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO, AND PROVIDING FOR THE COLLECTION OF THE SAME. WHEREAS, the City of Louisville is experiencing rapid growth which increases the cost of the City to provide supervision over the growth and to provide other facilities for the growth, and WHEREAS, it is determined by the City Council of the City of Louisville that a levy upon such new construction be a proper method of paying for said services. N.O W, THE REF 0 R E BEl TOR D A I NED BY THE C I T Y CO U N C I L 0 F THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: SECTION 1. Definitions. (a) Contractor.-- Any person, firm, partnership, joint venture or corporation required to obtain a building permit under the City of Louisville Ordinance No. 385, adopting by reference the Uni- form Building Code, or any other City of Louisville ordinance adopt- ing subsequent editions of the Uniform Building Code. (b) Floor Area. -- The area included within the surround- ing exterior walls of a building or portion thereof, measured from the inside of all exterior walls, excluding parking garages, public ha11- ways, and public stairways. (c) Building Officia1.-- The officer charged with the ad- ministration and enforcement of the Uniform Building Code, as adopted by the City of Louisville, or his regularly authorized deputy. (d) Bui1ding.-- Any structure without reference to use or occupancy for which a building permit is required by the ordinances of the City of Louisville. (e) Treasurer.--The duly elected Treasurer of the City of Louisville. SECTION 2. Payment of Fees.
