RESOLUTION NO. 9, SERIES 2000 - A RESOLUTION CONCERNING A <br />PETITION FOR THE ANNEXATION OF PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF <br />LOUISVILLE, COLORADO, KNOWN AS THE BOWES ANNEXATION, AND <br />FINDING THE AREA PROPOSED TO BE ANNEXED ELIGIBLE FOR <br />ANNEXATION - continued from 2/1/00 <br /> <br />The applicant Jack Bowes submitted a letter requesting that the City allow him to <br />withdraw the petition for annexation from further consideration. <br /> <br />Howard moved Council withdraw Resolution No. 9, Series 2000 - A Resolution <br />Concerning a Petition For the Annexation of Property to the City of Louisville, Colorado, <br />Known as the Bowes Annexation, and Find the Area Proposed to be Annexed Eligible for <br />Annexation, and the item removed from the agenda, seconded by Brown. All in favor. <br /> <br />Sisk asked the City Administrator to report on the withdrawal status of the petition. <br /> <br />Bill Simmons, City Administrator stated that the petitioner, Jack Bowes has withdrawn <br />his application. He stated that Mr. Bowes has accepted an offer from the City of <br />Louisville and Boulder County to purchase the property for open space. <br /> <br />Sisk stated that prior to the meeting a citizen asked him the status of the proposed Dillon <br />Road improvements. Sisk asked Simmons to address the Dillon Road improvement <br />issue. <br /> <br />Simmons stated that the City has hired Charles Keim & Associates, to draft a preliminary <br />design of Dillon Road. The portion of the roadway to be addressed is east of 88th Street, <br />along the edge of the Bowes property where the curve is located. Simmons stated that at <br />the time of closing the City would purchase the roadway easement with funds from the <br />Capital Improvement Fund. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1332, SERIES 2000 - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />CHAPTER 2.32 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE TO INCREASE <br />THE SALARY OF THE MUNICIPAL JUDGE - 2nd reading - public hearing <br />(advertised Daily Camera 02/19/00) <br /> <br />Davidson called for Staff introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Sam Light read Ordinance No. 1332, Series 2000 - An Ordinance <br />Amending Chapter 2.32 of the Louisville Municipal Code to Increase the Salary of the <br />Municipal Judge. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Bill Simmons, City Administrator stated that Ordinance No. 1332, Series 2000 increases <br />the Municipal Judge's salary on an annual basis to $16,800.
