<br />II <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. .:1 / ~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 184 of the TOWN OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO, <br /> <br />ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO DANCING AND DANCING EXHIBITIONS" <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF LOUISVILLE, <br /> <br />COLORADO : <br /> <br />That Ordinance No. 184 is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1. From and after the passage of this Ordinance it shall be legal <br /> <br />for dancing or dancing exhibitions to be held in establishments within the <br /> <br />Town of Louisville, which hold a license for the sale of malt, vinous or <br /> <br />spiritous liquors, provided, however, that the person, partnership or cor- <br /> <br />poration holding said liquor license shall first apply to the governing body <br /> <br />of the Town of Louisville, and obtain a license to conduct such dancing. <br /> <br />Section 2. The Town Clerk of the Town of Louisville, at the request of <br /> <br />the governing body, shall be permitted to issue such dancing license upon <br /> <br />first collecting a fee of $150.00. Said license shall run from January 1st <br /> <br />of the year of issue to January 1st of the succeeding year, and there shall <br /> <br />be no proration of the license fee for a lesser period of time. <br /> <br />Section 3. Any dances or dancing exhibitions which are conducted in <br /> <br />such licensed premises shall not be conducted within fifteen feet of any <br /> <br />portion of any bar or service barWbere malt, vinous or spiritous liquors are <br />< <br /> <br />sold or dispensed. <br /> <br />Section4. It shall be the duty of the Town Marshal, Town Manager or <br /> <br />TownPo!iceOfficers to make regular inspections of such licensed establish- <br /> <br />ents during such hours as dancing is being conducted therein, and to see that <br /> <br />said establishments are being conducted in an orderly manner, and in such a <br /> <br />manner as to not create a disturbance to surrounding premises. <br /> <br />Section 5. If, in the opinion of said Town Marshal, Town Manager or Town <br /> <br />Riice Officers, said establishment is being operated in violation of this <br /> <br />Ordinance or is being operated in such a manner as to constitute a disturbance <br /> <br />or nuisance to surrounding premises, it shall be his duty to immediately <br /> <br />suspend any dancing or dancing exhibition, and he shall, within twelve hours, <br /> <br />-1- <br />
