Renewal Application —Tibet's Restaurant and Bar, LLC d/b/a <br /> Tibet's Restaurant and Bar— Hotel and Restaurant Liquor License <br /> — 321 McCaslin Blvd. Ste. A <br /> C. Renewal Application — Unionjack Liquor, Inc. d/b/a Unionjack <br /> Liquors — 1160 S. Boulder Road <br /> Gunning called for any changes to the consent agenda. Wilson moved to approve the <br /> consent agenda. Machado seconded. All in favor. Consent agenda approved. <br /> Authority Business <br /> A. Public Hearing — New Tavern License — Kasbah Restaurants, LLC d/b/a <br /> Imperial Fez Moroccan Restaurant— 820 Main St. Suite 101 <br /> Chairperson Gunning opened the public hearing on the new license application. <br /> Secretary Hanson stated the application was complete and included in the Authority <br /> packet. Background checks revealed no criminal history and the hearing had been <br /> posted and published in accordance with state law. <br /> No objections were entered to the boundaries of the neighborhood being the city limits <br /> of the City of Louisville. Gunning moved the entire application as contained in the <br /> • Authority packets be made a part of the record of this hearing. Lipton.seconded. All in <br /> favor. <br /> Gunning called for an applicant presentation. <br /> Zakaria Ouafi Tadlaoui, 589 Whiles Court, Erie, Colorado, introduced himself to the <br /> Authority and took the oath administered by the Secretary. He stated he has been in the <br /> restaurant business for 25 years. His family owned Mataam Fez in Denver and he, <br /> under their tutelage, had a restaurant in Lafayette and now would like to bring a dining <br /> experience to Louisville. He envisions Imperial Fez as destination dining and <br /> entertainment with not only Moroccan but Mediterranean cuisine. <br /> Authority members asked some questions to clarify the diagram of the licensed <br /> premises. Mr. Tadlauoi mentioned a patio and tables in a common area and neither <br /> was noted on the diagram included in the packet. The Authority members and Authority <br /> attorney determined the patio and common area were not included in either the diagram <br /> or the lease and could not be included in the granting of the license at this time. Mr. <br /> Tadlauoi was told if he wanted to include those areas, he would need to file a <br /> modification of premises at a later date. <br /> Two members of the audience spoke in favor of the application. <br /> • Gunning closed the public hearing. <br /> Rommelfanger moved the Local Licensing Authority of the City of Louisville find the <br /> applicant is of good moral character, the inhabitants of the neighborhood desire the <br />
