Local Licensing Authority <br /> Minutes <br /> September 26, 2011 <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br /> • license be granted, the license will meet the reasonable requirements of the <br /> neighborhood, all City and State law requirements have been met and, based on these <br /> findings, the Local Licensing Authority approve issuance of a Tavern liquor license for <br /> Kasbah Restaurants, LLC d/b/a Imperial Fez Moroccan Restaurant. Wilson seconded. <br /> Roll Call Vote: Lipton — yes, Wilson — yes, Rommelfanger— yes, Gunning — yes and <br /> Machado — yes. New license approved. <br /> Police Department Reports <br /> A. Incident Report—Waterloo — 8/21/11 <br /> This incident involved the police being dispatched to the downtown area to help other <br /> officers with an apparently intoxicated person. Authority members questioned whether <br /> there was any follow up on this incident. Secretary Hanson reported she and Sergeant <br /> Lanphere had a conversation about the report and he indicated he would look into the <br /> matter. The Authority decided to continue this matter to the next meeting. <br /> B. Incident Report — Carrabba's — 9/12/11 <br /> Police were dispatched to the establishment on the report of a disturbance. The report <br /> stated it was generated to show the restaurant did what they were supposed to do. The <br /> Authority was grateful to see the report and for the restaurant responding appropriately. <br /> • Secretary's Report <br /> Hanson reported on the August 28, 2011 seller/server training held in Lafayette. Forty <br /> of the 44 attendees were from Louisville establishments. The Police Department <br /> continues to excel in teaching these classes as well as encouraging attendance. <br /> Hanson stated she had spoken to the Planning Department about the downtown street <br /> patios and a final decision about temporary versus permanent has not been made. She <br /> will keep the Authority updated. <br /> Hanson reported state liquor enforcement has been in town. She wanted Authority <br /> members to be aware and will report back with the results of any hearings. <br /> Hanson reminded Authority members of Open Government Training on November 14 <br /> and 18, 2011. <br /> Authority Attorney's Report <br /> No report. <br /> Authority Comment <br /> • No comments. <br /> Discussion Items for Next Meeting — October 24, 2011 - None <br />
