Staff PresentationlDiscussion - Preliminary 2008 City Budget <br /> <br />Revenue Proiections <br />Interim Finance Director Alan Miller reviewed the revenue forecasts for 2008 in the <br />General Fund, the CIP and the Conservation Trust Fund <br /> <br />Salary Survey <br />Kathleen Hix, Human Resources Manager and Robin Perez, Human Resources <br />Technician, provided an update on the City's current compensation practices. Based on <br />data collected and analyzed, the City of Louisville is on average 10% below market. In <br />order to correct these wage differences staff presented a number of strategies for <br />implementation. The preferred strategy is to fund market (pay range) adjustments and <br />bring employees pay up to the bottom of the new range if they are below the minimum of <br />the new range.
