Louisville City Council Meeting <br />April 4, 2000 <br />Page 20. <br /> <br />PURSUANT TO SECTION 2.92.010 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE, <br />NOTICE MUST BE GIVEN THAT AT ITS APRIL 18, 2000 REGULAR <br />MEETING, THE LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL WILL MAKE A FINAL <br />DETERMINATION AS TO THE ACQUISITION OF VACANT REAL ESTATE, <br />WATER RIGHTS, AND A CONSERVATION EASEMENT, FOR OPEN SPACE, <br />CONSERVATION, AND RIGHT-OF-WAY PURPOSES - BOWES PROPERTY, <br />SE CORNER DILLON ROAD & SOUTH 88TM STREET <br /> <br />Davidson called for Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Simmons stated that pursuant to Section 2.92.010 of the Louisville Municipal Code, <br />notice must be given that at its April 18, 2000 regular meeting. City Council will make a <br />final determination as to the acquisition of vacant real eState, water rights, and <br />conservation easement, for open space, conservation, and right-of-way purposes of the <br />Bowes Property. <br /> <br />Simmons stated that under the proposed purchase agreement the City and County intends <br />to purchase as tenants in common, approximately 70 acres of the property for open space <br />purposes and a conservation easement, and approximately five acres of the property for <br />right-of-way purposes. The City and County will pay the owner of the property a total <br />purchase price of $2,025,000. The City's portion is $1,080,00 of the total purchase price. <br /> <br />MOTION: Davidson moved that Council send notice of its April 18, 2000 Regular City <br />Council Meeting to Make Final Determination as to the Acquisition of Vacant Real <br />Estate, Water Rights, and a Conservation Easement, for Open Space, Conservation, and <br />Right-of-Way Purposes - Bowes Property, SE Comer Dillon Road & South' 88th Street, <br />out for publication, seconded by Sisk. All in favor. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1335, SERIES 2000 - AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE <br />PAYMENT OF CITY MONEYS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF VACANT REAL <br />ESTATE, WATER RIGHTS, AND A CONSERVATION EASEMENT, FOR OPEN <br />SPACE, CONSERVATION, AND RIGHT-OF-WAY PURPOSES - BOWES <br />PROPERTY, SE CORNER DILLON ROAD & 88TM STREET - 1st reading - set <br />public hearing 4/18/00 <br /> <br />Davidson called for City Attorney introduction. <br /> <br />Sam Light, City Attorney read Ordinance No. 1335, Series 2000, An Ordinance <br />Authorizing the Payment of City Moneys for the Acquisition of Vacant Real Estate, <br /> <br />20 <br /> <br /> <br />
