<br />Louisville City Council Meeting <br />January 4, 2005 <br />Page 8 of8 <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk reported he is scheduled to meet with the Louisville Fire Protection District <br />Board. He stated the new board and committee members will be announced at the <br />January 18, Council meeting. He reported Council member Clabots came home from the <br />hospital on Christmas Day. Council member Clabots expresses his thanks to the Council <br />and the residents for their support and well wishes. He thanked the City Staff for <br />organizing the legislative breakfast. He announced a Highway 36 meeting will be held in <br />Superior, on Thursday, January 6, at 7:30 a.m. <br /> <br />Assistant City Manager for Governmental Relations Heather Balser reported the cost for <br />the Interim US 36 Interchange improvements and additional improvements required by <br />CDOT totaled $170,000. The Town of Superior will request bids next week for the US <br />36 Interchange Improvement Project. They will then ask the Interchange Committee to <br />reconvene to review the bids. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk reported on receiving an e-mail from Superior Mayor Mark Hamilton relative <br />to the BiellalMenkick Agreement. He responded to Mayor Hamilton that Council could <br />not discuss this matter as it is not an agenda item. <br /> <br />City Manager Simmons informed Council the bid opening for Community Park is <br />scheduled for January 18. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />MOTION: Council member Levihn moved for adjournment (8:35 p.m.), seconded by <br />Council member Brown.
