Appointment of Hank Dalton to the Planning Commission <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Jean Morgan, 1131 Spruce Street, Louisville, CO expressed her appreciation of <br />the City's newsletter. She addressed the gateway entrances into Louisville. She <br />suggested the corner of Highway 42 and Pine Street be designated as a gateway <br />into the City. She noted the northwest entrance to the City at South Boulder <br />Road and McCaslin is private property and has a large prairie dog population. <br />She suggested the City negotiate with the property owner to make that a <br />gateway. <br /> <br />Paul Everett, 301 Van Buren Court, Louisville, CO noted the Adams County <br />School District broadcast educational programs on their governmental channel. <br />He suggested that the Boulder Valley School District Government provide <br />educational program on Channel 22. He explained the channel is only used for <br />posting and broadcasting school board meetings. He offered many suggestions <br />for the types of programs that should be aired, and volunteered his services to <br />assist in programming. <br /> <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON <br />THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk reported on attending the Annual Boy Scout's Dinner. Jansen Ferrera <br />was honored as the Boy Scout of the Year. Ferrera is an Eagle Scout, and a <br />senior at Monarch High School. The other honoree was Leo Hill. He also <br />reported on the passing of former Louisville resident Joe Dawson. Dawson was <br />an active member of the community and an enthusiastic supporter of the Annual <br />
