The letter contained a request for a continuance <br />on Ordinance 1456, Series 2004 to a date no later than July 18, 2005. <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved that Council continue Ordinance No. 1456, Series <br />2004 to July 19, 2005, seconded by Council member Brown. A response was received from <br />PSCO on Monday, May 16, 2005, rejecting the City's request. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk opened the public hearing and requested an Applicant presentation. <br /> <br />Dudley Spiller, 1775 Sherman Street, Denver, CO, Attorney representing Xcel <br />Energy, explained that after considerations, PSCO has declined to accept the <br />"re-opener" clause requested by the City. He stated PSCO would agree to <br />extend the Franchise Agreement one year to permit further negotiations.
