A ward Bid for Replacement of Recreation Center Free Weight <br />Room Flooring to Performance Surfaces <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Donald Tapia, VIP Valet, requested Council consideration on valet parking for the <br />downtown Louisville. He contacted the Melting Pot Restaurant and offered his <br />valet services and also discussed using the Wave Form Lot as valet parking lot <br />with the owner. <br /> <br />Bonnie McCormick, 190 Griffith, Louisville, CO reported on the success of the <br />July 4th celebration held in Memory Square Park. She thanked the Mayor, City <br />Council, and Albertson's for their contributions and hard work. <br /> <br />Tom Cave, 426 Lois Drive, Louisville, CO stated he is a professional land <br />surveyor and represents the Colorado Professional Land Surveyors organization. <br />He voiced his concern over the landmarks destroyed in the street overlay <br />projects. He requested a meeting to discuss the issues with City officials. <br /> <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON <br />THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk reported on the July 4th celebration, and thanked Elle Cabbage, the <br />members of the Council and their families, Bob Ross and the American Legion. <br /> <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> <br />PROPOSED 2005 CITYWIDE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN - PUBLIC HEARING <br />(advertised Daily Camera 6/9/06) continued frorn 6/21/05 <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk opened the public hearing and noted that several emails have been <br />received from members of the public with respect to the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Planning Director Wood explained Staff and the City Attorney reviewed the issue <br />raised by John Leary.
