Spruce Street will be closed in approximately three <br />weeks to allow the crane to be moved. She reported Humphries Poli Architects <br />prepared a sustainability report, which outlined items in the Leeds energy <br />conservation criteria. The City might meet the classification for Leeds <br />certification at the lowest level. <br /> <br />Library Director Anne Mojo presented two quotes selected by the Library Board <br />to set on the east exterior wall of the library. She circulated color boards for the <br />new library, and reported on the fundraising sale of library tiles. <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> <br />City Attorney Light reported on a home rule charter provision dealing with the <br />terms of office. According to the provision, the newly elected Council members <br />will be sworn-in at the second meeting in November. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br /> <br />City Manager Simmons reported a meeting will be scheduled to discuss Main <br />Street improvements. Discussions will center on Main Street from Parkview to <br />Rex Streets and to the new Community Park. He also reported on the City of <br />Boulder's filing against FRICO, and noted the City has water quality issues with <br />the City of Boulder. Agenda Items for the September 13, 2005 Study Session <br />include the Capital budget; personnel cost; a meeting with the Open Space <br />Advisory Board; sales and use tax, and the City Hall renovation. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS & COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk reported the Business Development and Retention Committee meets <br />with the Highway 42 Revitalization Committee on Wednesday, September 7 to <br />discuss the Highway 42 Redevelopment plan.
