<br />Section 2. The Table contained in Subsection A of Section <br />13.24.030 of the Louisville Municipal Code, entitled "Tap Fee" is amended <br />effective January 1, 1997, to read as follows: <br /> <br />Year Tap Purchased <br /> <br />Amount <br /> <br />1989 <br />1990 <br />1991 <br />1992 <br />1993-1996 <br />1997 and thereafter <br /> <br />$2,163.00 <br />2,228.00 <br />2,295.00 <br />2,364.00 <br />2,435.00 <br />2,520.00 <br /> <br />Section 3. The increases in tap fees contained in Sections 1 <br />and 2 of this Ordinance shall take effect January 1, 1997. <br /> <br />Section 4. Any person who violates any provision of this <br />Ordinance shall be punished by a fine of not more than $1,000 or by <br />imprisonment not to exceed 1 year or both such fine and imprisonment. <br />Each day during any portion of which any violation of any provision of <br />this ordinance is committed, continued, or permitted by any such person <br />shall be a separate offense. <br /> <br />Section 5. If any portion of this ordinance is held to be <br />invalid for any reason, such decision shall not affect the validity of <br />the remaining portions of this ordinance. The City Council hereby <br />declares that it would have passed this ordinance and each part hereof <br />irrespective of the fact that anyone part be declared invalid. <br /> <br />Section 6. The repeal or modification of any provision of the <br />Municipal Code of the City of Louisville by this ordinance shall not <br />release, extinguish, alter, modify, or change in whole or in part any <br />penalty, forfeiture, or liability, either civil or criminal, which shall <br />have been incurred under such provision, and each provision shall be <br />treated and held as still remaining in force for the purpose of <br />sustaining any and all proper actions, suits, proceedings, and <br />prosecutions for the enforcement of the penalty, forfeiture, or <br />liability, as well as for the purpose of sustaining any judgment, decree, <br />or order which can or may be rendered, entered, or made in such actions, <br />suits, proceedings, or prosecutions. <br /> <br />Section 7.
