<br />Municipal Code. The purpose and subject matter of the <br />Uniform Plumbing Code include comprehensive provisions <br />regulating plumbing installations in or in connection <br />with new and existing structures and providing uniform <br />plumbing standards for the purpose of protecting the <br />public health, safety and general welfare. Except as <br />otherwise provided herein, the Uniform Plumbing Code is <br />adopted in full, including the outline of contents, <br />index, and the appendices thereto as stated in Section <br />15.16.030. In all sections of this chapter where a <br />reference is made to the Uniform Plumbing Code, said <br />reference shall be to the 1994 Edition of said Code. <br /> <br />Section 2. Section 15.16.020 of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code is hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />15.16.020 Table 1-1, Plumbing Permit Fees. <br />Table No. 1-1 Plumbing Permit Fees of the Uniform <br />Plumbing Code is adopted. <br /> <br />Section 3. Section 15.16.030 of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code is hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />15.16.030 Appendices Adopted. <br />There is adopted the following appendices to the <br />Uniform Plumbing Code: Appendix A, Rules for Sizing the <br />Water Supply System; Appendix C, Minimum Plumbing <br />Facilities; Appendix 0, Rainwater Systems; Appendix G, <br />Graywater Systems for Single Family Dwellings; Appendix <br />H, Procedures for Sizing Commercial Kitchen Grease <br />Interceptors, and Appendix J, Reclaimed Water Systems for <br />Non-Residential Buildings. Any appendices not listed <br />above are not adopted. <br /> <br />Section 4. Section 15.16.060 of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code is hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />15.16.060 Section 410.3 amended <br />Floor Drains and Shower Stalls. <br />Section 410.3 of the Uniform Plumbing Code shall be <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Exception: Special use shower compartments for <br />wheelchair use may have the threshold eliminated but in no <br />case can the threshold height exceed one-half inch. The <br />required slope shall be maintained from the door entry to the <br />drain opening. The minimum depth from the top of the drain to <br />the top of the threshold may not be less than one and one- <br />quarter inches. <br /> <br />2 <br />
