He noted this vendor lives <br /> in Louisville, but the company is not located in Louisville. <br /> City Manager Fleming explained he and Parks and Recreation Director Stevens have <br /> discussed this matter and will look into vendors with more healthy choices. <br /> Parks and Recreation Director Stevens explained it would be a shift in paradigms to go <br /> from the expected "ball park menu" to a healthy menu. He explained the RFP was not <br /> built with healthy or nutrition food items in mind, but rather what the public expects. He <br /> also noted fresh food has a very short shelf life. Overall the Parks and Recreation <br /> Department is looking for food items at all facilities. <br /> MOTION: Councilor Loo moved to approve the Grinning Bears Agreement, seconded <br /> by Councilor Dalton. All were in favor. <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION — REAL PROPERTY ACQUISTIONS <br /> Louisville Charter, Section 5-2(c) - Authorized Topics — Consideration of real property <br /> acquisitions, only with respect to appraisals and other value estimates and strategy, and <br /> C.R.S. 24-6-402(4)(a) <br /> • REGULAR BUSINESS ITEMS SUSPENDED <br /> City Attorney Light explained the City Manager is requesting the City Council convene <br /> an Executive Session for the purpose of consideration of real property acquisitions — <br /> Potential Purchase of Land. <br /> City Clerk Varra read Section 2.90.050 Public statement of the Louisville Municipal <br /> Code, which governs the topics that may be discussed in an executive session. <br /> City Attorney Light cited the Statement of Authority for convening an executive session <br /> as follows: Louisville Charter, Section 5-2(3) —Authorized Topics — Consideration of <br /> real property acquisitions, only with respect to appraisals and other value estimates and <br /> strategy. Executive sessions are also permitted through the Open Meeting Law, Section <br /> C.R.S. 24-6-402(4)(a). <br /> MOTION: Mayor Muckle moved the City Council convene an executive session to <br /> discuss and consider real property acquisitions but only with respect to appraisals and <br /> other value estimates and strategy and the executive session include all members of <br /> City Council, City Manager Fleming, Director of Parks and Recreation, Economic <br /> Development Director, City Attorney and Planning Director, seconded by Councilor <br /> Dalton seconded the motion. All were in favor. The City Council adjourned into <br /> executive session at 10:45 p.m. The City Council reconvened the business meeting at <br /> • 11:56 p.m. <br />
