Implement agreed on <br /> actions regarding signage, way finding, pedestrian improvements and other <br /> issues to achieve a clear sense of place. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Councilor Loo voiced her support for the core services of streets and water facilities. <br /> Mayor Muckle agreed core services of streets and water are prioritized. <br /> City Manager Fleming noted the Capital Project Budget shows an increase in the <br /> amount of street improvements. <br /> MOTION: Mayor Muckle moved to endorse the City Council Goals for 2012, seconded <br /> by Councilor Dalton. All were in favor. <br /> ELECTON OF MAYOR PRO TEM <br /> Councilor Sackett recused himself from the discussions, nomination and vote for the <br /> Mayor Pro Tem. <br /> City Attorney Light outlined the nomination and voting procedures for Mayor Pro Tem <br /> • may be by voice or by ballot. <br /> Mayor Muckle called for nomination for Mayor Pro Tern. <br /> NOMINATIONS: Councilor Loo nominated Councilor Dalton for Mayor Pro Tem, <br /> seconded by Councilor Keany. <br /> Mayor Muckle nominated Councilor Yamell for Mayor Pro Tem, seconded by Councilor <br /> Jasiak. <br /> Councilor Yarnell stated the Council has come together to approve several matters <br /> since November and noted there have been some contentious matters in the last few <br /> months. She accepted the nomination. <br /> Councilor Dalton agreed the Council has come forward on several matters. <br /> VOTE: Councilor Dalton: 4 votes— Councilors: Keany, Dalton, Loo and Jasiak. <br /> Councilor Yarnell: 2 votes— Mayor Muckle and Councilor Yarnell. <br /> APPROVAL OF CONCESSIONAIRE CONTRACT FOR THE LOUISVILLE <br /> SPORTS COMPLEX WITH GRINNINGBEAR'S LAIR <br /> Councilor Jasiak stated the reason she requested this item be moved to the regular <br /> • <br /> business agenda was because she would like to see some healthier choices.
