Louisville City Council Meeting <br />October 17, 2000 <br />Page 10. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Davidson authorized Council members to contact the City Attorney on legal questions <br />and issues pertaining to the Fischer Annexation. <br /> <br />Mayer reported that it is time for the Recycling Authority to apply for grants. He noted <br />that in addition to education, one of the Authority's goals is to contract for solid wastes. <br />Public Works Director Tom Phare stated that it might be appropriate to prepare a grant <br />request that would instill the component of waste diversion facilitated by city-wide <br />collection. Phare noted that the grant might not address the entire issue. Mayer stated <br />that there is an opportunity to apply for a grant. <br /> <br />Keany informed Council that the Chamber of Commerce will host a business after hours <br />at Costco in Superior, on Wednesday, October 18, 2000. This is a combined, Louisville, <br />Lafayette and Superior Chambers' activity. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Brown moved that Council adjourn (7:50 p.m.) seconded by Sisk.
