City Council <br /> Meeting Minutes <br /> April 3, 2012 <br /> Page 14 of 14 <br /> only with respect to appraisals and other value estimates and strategy, and C.R.S. 24- <br /> i6-402(4)(a)) the open meetings law. <br /> MOTION: Mayor Muckle moved the City Council convene an executive session for the <br /> purpose of considering real property acquisitions, but only with respect to appraisals <br /> and other value estimates and strategy and requested the following be included in the <br /> executive session: members of the City Council, City Manager Fleming, Deputy City <br /> Manager Balser, City Attorney Light, Economic Development Director Star, the new <br /> Economic Development Director DeJong, Parks and Recreation Director Stevens and <br /> Planning Director Russ. Mayor Pro Tem Dalton seconded the motion. All were in favor. <br /> The Council adjourned into executive session at 9:05 p.m. The regular City Council <br /> meeting reconvened at 10:42 p.m. <br /> REGULAR BUSINESS ITEMS CONTINUED <br /> REPORT— DISCUSION/DIRECTION/ACTION — REAL PROPERTY ACQUISITIONS <br /> City Attorney Light reported in executive session the City Council discussed and <br /> considered real property acquisitions, but only with respect to appraisals and other <br /> value estimates and strategy The City Council gave direction to staff regarding possible <br /> strategy for negotiation of an acquisition. If negotiations are successful and arrive at a <br /> potential acquisition package, the City Council would receive an additional packet of <br /> information at a future meeting.
