Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda:No members of the public were
present, however public comments were offered by board members as follows:
Annie noted that the 3/12/12 OSAB meeting minutes contained a memo that included a
suggestion to remove the “sustainability” section from the Comp Plan and she asked if
anyone was aware of this. Andy responded that he had attended the Comp Plan
meeting and had suggested that the Sustainability section might be changed to a
defining section andthat the concepts should instead be infused throughout the
document. Annie agreed that the concepts should be infused but though the section
should be retained.
Andy suggested that we should discuss Green Building Code. Andy will be meeting
with Peter Stuart, from the Historic Commission, and Steve Brauneis, from the Planning
Commission,to develop recommendations to the city. He would like this added to the
agenda for the May LSAB meeting.
Mark noted that the Open Government Training is scheduled for April 9 6:30pm and
April 13 8:30 am , and that all members who need to attend the training should plan to
attend one of these sessions.
Dave commentedthat he had been invited to a Boulder Countymeeting regarding
proposed tax for sustainability, but the meeting was at the same time as the LSAB
meeting so he did not attend. Malcolm Fleming was attending and Dave would get an
update from him.
City of Louisville
Public Works Department
749 Main StreetLouisville CO 80027
303.335.4608(phone) 303.335.4550 (fax) www.louisvilleco.gov
